VIP Lounges

Lisbon Airport is Portugal's main air hub and in 2017 handled over 26 million passengers, so it can be a very busy place, particularly at peak times. While efforts have been made to reduce the queues at the check-in desks with the facilities for mobile and self-service check-in, there can still be a long wait at security screening and passport control.

However, once you arrive at the boarding areas of Terminal 1, you can escape the noise and bustle of the crowds in the shopping area and food courts by booking yourself into the relaxing atmosphere of one of the VIP lounges. Unfortunately, there is no VIP lounge in T2.

The lounges have workstations where you can keep on top of business, comfortable seating on which you can relax while watching television or reading the complimentary newspapers and magazines, and you can take advantage of the inclusive snacks and drinks.

There are two lounges, the ANA Lounge and the Blue Lounge, which are open to all passengers on payment of the entry fee and with free access for passengers holding business class tickets with affiliated airlines, some members of frequent flyer programs and holders of associated lounge club cards.

ANA Lounge

The ANA Lounge is located after security in T1 at Praça Lisboa (Lisbon Square) on the sixth floor. It has areas in which to work as well as seating areas with panoramic views of the runways. Showers are available for an extra fee.

The opening hours are 05:00 to 23:00 daily. The adult entrance fee is €29.00 in the high season from March to November and €25.00 in the low season from December to February. Entry for children aged three to twelve is €15.00 at all times. Children under three enter free of charge. The entrance can be booked in advance on the airport website or you can pay on entry. Qualifying passengers on affiliated airlines and members of Dragon Pass and Priority Pass get free or discounted entry. The maximum stay is three hours and there is a smart casual dress code.

A shower kit comprising a towel and toiletries costs €15.50. A Combined shower kit and lounge entry is €32.50.

TAP Premier Lounge

In addition to the public access lounges above, TAP, the Portuguese national carrier, has its own lounge on the sixth floor of T1, close to the ANA Lounge. It is free for qualifying TAP passengers, but other travellers with the airline can purchase access.

The opening hours are 05:00 to midnight and the lounge has similar facilities to the ANA Lounge with the addition of printers and copiers.

Reservations can be made at the TAP ticket desks or on the website www.flytap.com.
